This custom deck is located in Brooklyn Park. The homeowner had a need for a little more space than their existing deck offerred. We were able to use the existing frame work and with the addition of two new footings and some new framing extend the deck out an additional six feet. That doesnt sound like a lot, but when talking about adding space to a deck, a liitle goes a long way. We removed the existing decking and railing, and replaced both with very low maintenance pvc decking and railing. With so many colors and options to choose from, matching the colors to blend with the home was very easy. Being able to reuse the majority of the framing was key to meeting the homeowners requirements for budget control. The deck transformation was substaintial considering the old material was cedar and was replaced with top of the line componets. We topped it off with a great lighting package from TimberTech.
