Maple Grove 08

This custom deck is located in Maple Grove MN. We started with Timber Tech decking installed with hidden fasteners, which gives a very clean finished look to the decking. The railing is made of Timber Tech composite 2x4 with deckoartor aluminum spindles. The composite post sleeves are topped off with composite caps along with composite skirts on the bottom. The size differential on the deck provided the feeling of two separate areas on one deck. With all of this family’s deck accessories you can see how that was important. The stair system contained two sets of stairs with a mid landing which brings you to ground level where you can see the support columns are wrapped with mira tec which is a compressed fiber board that is then painted. The arches give the underside a finished look along with the smaller trim pieces on the posts. The homeowner wanted to stay with the same high end look as some of their neighbors, and we were able to enlarge the post size and arches to make the difference that help separate them just enough.
