This Deck and porch combination is located in Woodbury MN. This four season porch was constructed of 2x10 rafters for the roof and 2x6 wall construction. The roof was done by a certified roofing company. The homeowner had storm damage and wanted to have the siding and roofing done on the home at the same time as the porch that was constructed. We coordinated with the other sub contractor to make sure the scheduling ran smoothly. We installed Weather Shield windows and door. The homeowner was capable of finishing the interior themselves, so we brought the project to completed framing stage and had our certified electrician rough in his electrical work. The underside of the porch was finished off with siding panels that matched the home. The deck off of the porch offered a great area to keep a grill and table set. The decking is Weatherbest composite with cedar railing with deckorator aluminum spindles. These porches are a very cost effective way to add square footage to your home that can be used all year around
